DIETS DON’T WORK, hence the saying “i’ll start tomorrow”

The environment we live in makes it much harder to have a healthy diet. Walk down any high street and what do you see, endless coffee shops, bakers and take-aways. They all tempt us.

How easy is it to reach for another packet or crisps, chocolate bar or supermarket sandwich. We all know we shouldn’t eat this sort of food everyday but how many of us do. Open any magazine or newspaper and you’ll find article after article of healthy lifestyles, diets and make-overs

Of course you didn’t gain the excess pounds overnight. To start losing weight, all you need is to eat less and be more active. With willpower and motivation, almost anyone can drop the pounds and change the way they look.

Remember it’s not just weight loss, its body shape that’s important as well.

Research shows the most efficient way to lose weight is a maximum of 2lb per week. Large weight loss is usually followed by an even larger weight gain. This is where people become yo-yo dieters.

The trouble is, say the word exercise and it fills most people with dread. But gentle exercise with a healthy balanced diet is all you need.

Have a nutritional assessment completed when you first start training with Fuel Fitness. I will provide you with a food diary, which you can complete over one week or one month, whatever your preference. I will then sit down with you and go through a plan of action, which will of course depend on your fitness and maybe weight loss objectives.

Because each plan is individual and geared to your nutritional needs, the goals we set together will be sensible and achievable, so you will get the results you’re looking for.
